Spare Parts and Replacement Procedures 8 - 17

F7 Fuse and SW1
Switch Assembly

1. Open circuit breaker CB1.

2. Place the rectifier on the OFF position.

3. Wait 5 minutes for dc output capacitors to discharge.

4. Open panel door and check voltage on dc capacitor.

5. Check SW1 located on F7 for raised alarm indicator. If the red

indicator tab is raised, the fuse has opened.

6. Unbolt F7/SW1 assembly, leaving cables attached.

7. Remove SW1 from fuse by rocking the body of the switch to its

side (i.e., toward the end of the fuse body). The switch will snap
off its mount on the fuse body.

8. If F7 has opened (indicator pin protrudes through the mounting

block), replace it with a new fuse.

9. Replace SW1 on F7 by hooking the legs at one end of the switch

under the top of the mounting base on the fuse, then snapping the
switch into place.

10. Bolt F7/SW1 assembly onto the bus bar so that the quick

disconnect fasteners are pointed downward.

DC Inductor (L3,
L4)

Note: Before replacing a dc inductor (L3 or L4), remove the circuit
breaker.

1. Remove the electrical connection of the inductor to be replaced.

2. While supporting the weight of the inductor, remove all four of the

mounting nuts that secure it to the frame. Reinstall in reverse
order.
