Press <Ctrl> and D to stop the script command.

Check for errors in the
/opt/sybase/backup/sybck.out
file.

Initiate an isql session by entering:
isql -U sa -P <
SA password
> -S <
database server name

If there are no dbcc errors, save the master and cascview databases by entering:

dump database master to
"/opt/sybase/backup/masterbackup.

go

dump database cascview to
"/opt/sybase/backup/cascbackup.
