4.4 Notices on national/international regulations

In accordance with the 42nd regulation on execution of the Federal Immission Pro-
tection Act (Bundesimmissionsschutzgesetz) (regulation on evaluation cooling sy-
stems, cooling towers, and wet separators - 42nd BImSchV), evaporation cooling

systems must be sub- jected to regular inspections.

The precise procedure for this can be found in the corresponding regulation. Further

reg- ulations and laws may also be imposed in other countries. Please request infor-
mation from the competent state authorities in the respective area of use.
