What It Does:
The red colored Orchestral and blue colored Solo buttons are the instrumental sounds that can
be played alone, together, or in combination with the upper and lower keyboard organ, flute,
strings, and vocal sounds.
Orchestral sounds are polyphonic. This means that you will hear the Orchestral sound selected
on all of the notes being played when you are playing two or more notes at the same time.
Solo sounds are monophonic. This means that you will hear the Solo sound selected only on the
highest note being played, even if two or more notes are played.
How It Works:
When the Jubilee is first turned on or when the Reset button is pressed the red Upper On button
in the Orchestral section is lighted. This allows you to select any red Orchestral or Blue Solo
sound for the upper keyboard simply by pressing a button in either section. Additionally, with
only the red Upper On button lighted, any Orchestral or Solo sound selected will play as an
Orchestral (polyphonic) sound.
NOTE: Upper Flute 16 and 4 are on when the Jubilee is turned on or the Reset button is
pressed. These sounds will be heard along with any red or blue Orchestral or Solo sound played
on the upper keyboard. To hear the Orchestral or Solo sound alone press any lighted Flute,
Organ, or Strings button in the Upper section of the control panel; turning them off.
How To Use It:
Press the red or blue button for the sound you wish to hear. The button pressed will light up. To
turn the sound off press the button again. The light will go out.
