MERGE RECORDING
Merge Recording allows you to record music onto a track (Accomp & Upper) that already has
music recorded on it, creating multiple layers of recorded music.
The Accomp and Upper tracks actually contain two separate sections; each for recording. The
separate sections on each track are automatically merged when a recording is completed. As
each additional recording is made the previously recorded tracks are merged onto the first sec-
tion of the track; allowing numerous recordings to be layered on a track.
1.
Record a song or select a song previously recorded on a disk. The song title should be
displayed in the Information Center window. The Accomp and Upper buttons will light up
solid green.
2.
Press the Record button. The Record button turns on solid red. The Play Pause button
flashes on and off red and the metronome begins to call out the tempo.
3.
Press both Accomp and Upper buttons to add another recording to the existing recording.
You may also elect to press only the Accomp or only the Upper to place additional music
on either track only. The button(s) pressed will turn from solid green to flashing red.
