* DHCP (Dinamyc Host Configuration Protocol): when this protocol is operating (default setting) it allows the XTDC electronic controller
to receive dynamically the IP configuration which is necessary to establish a web connection.
As a matter of fact the control unit may be remote managed and controlled after establishing such connection. However some web
connections may not support DHCP configuration (pending on network settings). In case it is not possible to control the dynamic setting
of the control unit, modify the next parameter 6.19.4 with the static IP address (provided by the provider). Such operation may request
the help of a computer technician.
10. Control unit parameters table
The XTDC electronic regulator is supplied with a Micro SD flash drive containing the complete manual set for the control unit manage
-
ment. Moreover the flash drive may be used for possible firmware updates or data storage as regards system operations. Especially for
what concerns this last function, when the Micro SD is combined with Sorel Connect (check next chapter for further details) it becomes
essential for monitoring/supervising the correct working of the device. Furthermore the Ethernet connection allows the remote reading,
modification and correction of data simply by connecting to a network.

Included in the supply is a software for data reading as regards the system operations; moreover, this allows the remote supervision of the installation itself.
The program does not require to be installed (you just need to copy the folder already present in the regulator Micro SD in whichever directory of your PC) and
it works on O.S., Windows XP and later versions up to Windows 8.
