Module start up:
The loading of the water and the start up of the module must be carried out by skilled personnel.
Start up the BIG EXOL-AR2 module only after complete loading and after an accurate check for possible water leaks.
• Verify that all fittings nuts are properly tightened.
• Slowly open interception valves on both circuits in order to avoid any water-hammer effect.
• Load water into the system and check for any possible leaks.
• Although this module is delivered with completely assembled and tested hydraulic circuits, verify all fittings nuts. Tighten if necessary. In a similar way,
during start up a complete test under water pressure of the system is required.
• Plug the specific power panel in (as described in the previous paragraph).
• Venting and flushing of system’s circuits:
- Open a non-drinkable water tab close to the module until venting is completed.
- Venting on heating (secondary) side can be typically carried out acting on venting valve on top of the puffer/s (anyway there is the 3 bar safety valve
in the upper side of the BIG EXOL-AR2 module).
Proceed until complete venting is accomplished.
• Properly commission the digital controller with correct parameters setting.
Note: the control unit is already factory set with functioning values which are intended to be correct according to diagram 17 (check paragraph 8, control unit
parameters chart). In order to make possible modifications of these values it is recommended to read carefully the manual on the Micro SD Card placed inside
the electronic controller or to contact an authorised technician.
Persisting flow noises are due to air within the hydraulic circuits
• Close the module with supplied covers.
