2. General instructions for end user

DANGER !

GENERAL DANGER

Installation

Before performing any work on this unit, the power supply must be disconnected from the mains.

Installation must be performed in compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.

The liability of the manufacturer is limited to the supply of the product. Its installation must be performed by qualified personnel working

for a company that system. Installation must be carried out in accordance with best practice and the instructions herein and to the highest

professional standards.

LOVATO S.p.A. disclaims any and all liability for any unauthorized modifications or alterations made to the product or if non-genuine spare

parts are used.

Electrical connection

The controller and the entire system may only be installed and connected by qualified personnel in compliance with all applicable laws

and regulations.

Connect the power supply cable of the controller to a two-pole switch equipped with fuses (power supply 230Vac 50Hz). Ensure proper

connection to the grounding system.

Danger

The controller must be connected to the mains with a residual current circuit-breaker fitted upstream, according to applicable regulations.

Proper operation of the controller is guaranteed

only if it is used in conjunction with the motor for which it was designed. Improper use of this unit will relieve the manufacturer of all liability.

Hydraulic connection

After transporting the KIT, or after handling it, tighten all tube union nuts.

Take extreme care when connecting the KIT to the hydraulic system. Avoid bending the copper tubing. To counteract the tightening force

exerted on the tubing connecting the KIT and the hydraulic system, use a spanner or similar tool on the KIT end.
