11. Components
Flow rate regulation of the primary circuit
In order to set the flow rate value it is possible to modify the parameter 6.2.6 relative
to the solar circulator R1 speed. Once the flow rate of the solar system (as projected)
is given and it is displayed thanks to the flow rate gauge VFS1, push the buttons 1
and 2 (check the picture near) in order to diminish or increase the speed of the pump
(% value).
Confirm the selected value by pushing button 4.
Ex: in the picture near side we supposed a solar circuit flow rate of max 49 l/min. Consequently, after pushing
button 1, we diminished the circulator speed to 54%. It is recommended to set properly the max speed of the
circulator in order to avoid useless squandering of electric power.
Note: wait for few seconds until the complete stabilisation of the flow rate value.

Vortex Flowsensor is a combined flow rate/temperature gauge projected for high volume water production. It
is made of composite material, while the sensor is made of a silicone base realised with MEMS technology.
The gauge is corrosion resistant.

3 ways deflecting valve of secondary delivery circuit
The 3 ways deflecting and motorised valve, inserted in the secondary circuit output, handles the priority towards
puffer 1 or puffer 2 (diagram 17) according to temperature value of the probes S1/S2.
Anyway, it is possible to use the single puffer configuration (diagram 18) by placing the probes S1 and S2 respectively
on the upper side and on the lower side of the puffer. It is also possible to invert the priority between two puffers.
The 2 ways ON/OFF motorised valve, inserted in the primary circuit output, remains open in normal conditions and
therefore guarantees the fluid circulation.
If the RPS device notices that the temperature is under 0°C, the controller activates the opening of the by-pass 2
ways valve, shutting the valve and consequently also the circulation of cold fluid inside the heat exchanger in order
to prevent damages inside it.
If the temperature raises over 0°C the controller deprives the by-pass valve of electricity which returns in closed
position, allowing the exchanging circuit. It is possible to set the intervention temperature on the controller.
2 ways ON/OFF valve (NO) primary circuit (solar)
RPS is a pressure/temperature combined sensor projected for high volume water production. It is made of composite
material, while the sensor is made of a silicone base realised with MEMS technology.
The sensor is corrosion resistant.

Immediate time response < 1,0 / 1,5 s
Maximum pressure > 30 bar
