3.5 ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND INSTRUMENT PANEL
ADJUSTING MECHANISM
The accelerator pedal is arranged on the right
front floor of the cab. Not depressing the
accelerator pedal, the engine will stay at the idle
status. Depressing the accelerator pedal will
increase the fuel supply to diesel engine thus the
output power of diesel engine.
The instrument desk adjusting mechanism is on
the right side of the instrument desk. Generally
speaking, the instrument desk tilts backward and
forms an included angle of 75° with the pedestal.
The adjusting range is 5° forward tilt and 20°
backward tilt on this basis.
3.6 GEAR-SHIFT HANDLE
The right figure shows mechanical gear shift.
The gear-shift handle is arranged below the
steering wheel. There are two gear shift handles.
Lower handle controls travel gear and upper
handle controls forward, reverse and neutral
gears.
The right figure shows electrically controlled gear
shift.
The electrically controlled gear-shift handle is
arranged below the steering wheel.
Forward/ Reverse;
By turning the end of electrically controlled gear
shift handle, obtain three different gears, i.e. I, II
and III forward gears; I, II and III reverse gears;
one neutral gear.
