"Key lock” function
The keyboard "key lock” is always activated upon start of the work shelf.
The lock function can be activated each time if the Stop & Go function is deactivated
(fig.12).
By pressing the "KEY" button (ref.8) for 1 second, the "Key lock" function is
activated or deactivated, an identification sound is emitted and the LED associated
with the lock key (ref.9) is switched on or off.
If the LED is on it means that the function is active and the controls are locked.
The lock function can be activated when the heating zones are switched on or when
the hob is switched off.
- When the hob is switched on, the "Key lock" function blocks all keys except the
general ON/OFF key and the key button itself.
- When the hob is switched off, the "Key lock" function blocks all keys, including the
general ON/OFF key.
To turn the hob back on it is necessary to first deactivate the "Key lock" function.
To cancel the "key lock" function
To cancel the function simply press the "KEY" button (ref.8) for 1 second.
The function is cancelled and the LED goes out (ref.9)
RESIDUAL HEAT indicator
After cooking, if the upper part of the glass exceeds 65°C, an "H" appears on the
power indicator for the heating element used.
If the hob has all the heating elements turned off, the "H" symbol remains fixed on
the display. If, on the other hand, the hob is working, "H" and "0" appear alternately
on the relevant heating element.
To generate a temperature above 65°C the heating element must be in operation.
For safety reasons each element can work for a certain period of time (which
depends on the power selected), after which it is automatically switched off.
If the time to bring the glass to 65°C is too short, the heat remaining time will also be
proportional to the selected power level.
