Misuse
Explicit warning is given for misuse under the follow-
ing circumstances:
–
Do
not
use the ventilation controller to lift free-
hanging loads in areas where persons are
present.
–
Do
not
use the ventilation controller for trans-
porting people (e.g. as passenger lift control or
similar).
–
Do
not
use the ventilation controller together
with drives other than the planned EWA 10 –16.

Storage
Store the ventilation controller and accessories dry
and weather-proof in the original packaging.
Avoid extreme heat and cold.
Maintain the climatic conditions set out in the techni-
cal data.

Installation
Only allow qualified personnel to carry out installa-
tion work.
5.1
Transport
The ventilation controllers and accessories are
packed at the factory for the respective transport
method agreed. Only transport the ventilation con-
trollers in the original packaging.
Observe the acceptable lifting and carrying forces
during manual transport. Avoid impacts and knocks.
Pay attention to any damage to the packaging, ven-
tilation controller and accessories.
5.2
Mechanical installation
▶
Loosen the 6 screws on the housing cover and
remove the cover.
▶
Screw the ventilation controller tight with
4 screws and refit the housing cover.
