Operating elements
All operating elements for the ventilation controller
are located on the housing cover.

8.1.1
Rotary switch to select the operating
mode
The rotary switch serves to set one of the 4 operat-
ing modes for the ventilation controller.
–
In position
Automatic
, the ventilation is adjusted
for temperature control in cyclic operation, i.e.
according to specified parameters.
–
In position
0 (Off)
, the drive is switched off.
–
In position
Open
(operating mode manual), the
ventilation is opened in cyclic operation. Press-
ing the dead man button at the same time short-
ens the pause duration in cyclic operation.
–
In position
Close
(operating mode manual), the
ventilation is closed in cyclic operation. Pressing
the dead man button at the same time shortens
the pause duration in cyclic operation.
8.1.2
Dead man button/Service button
The dead man button only functions when the rotary
switch for operating mode selection is in position
Open
or
Close
. In this case, the drive can be
opened or closed in cyclic operation with shorter
pause duration.
8.1.3
Rotary knob with button function
The rotary knob serves to change the ventilation
controller settings.
–
Turning serves to select menu items or change
parameters.
–
Pressing shortly activates the menu item
selected or saves the parameter set.
–
Pressing continuously for at least 10 seconds
resets all parameters to the factory settings (see
Section 10.5).
8.1.4
Display lighting
The display lighting in the Status display goes off
automatically after 5 minutes. It is switched on again
by:
–
Rotating or pressing the rotary knob
–
Rotating the rotary switch for operating mode
selection
–
Activating the dead man button.
The display lighting remains on permanently in:
–
Service menu and
–
Configuration menu
The display brightness can be set in 10 levels in the
Configuration menu.

operating modes and cyclic operation.
