Gocator 2000 Family
Serial Output
The Gocator’s user interface can be used to select measurement values and decisions to be transmitted
via RS-485 serial output. Each Gocator sensor has one serial output channel.
To configure serial output:

Navigate to the Serial Panel.

Select the measurement value and decision items to send.
To select an item for transmission, place a check in the corresponding check box. Measurements shown
here correspond to measurements that have been programmed using the Measurements Page.
Refer to the Serial Protocol section(page 157) for serial connection parameters and data formats. Refer
to the Specifications section (page 162) for information on wiring serial output to an external device.
