5.5.  After Scaler treatment

NOTICE!

Immediately after using any type of medicament in the medicament bottle, run 

the automatic cleaning cycle with clean water in the medicament bottle for both 

the scaler and the polisher until clean water comes out of the handpieces.

NOTICE!

Set the water flow to fully open before running the cleaning cycle.

A

1.  Set the water flow to fully open (A). 
2.  Run the automatic cleaning function. See 

instructions “7.2. Automatic cleaning function for the 
scaler and polisher” on page 30.

3.  After the cleaning cycle is finished, turn off the tip 

counterclockwise with torque wrench (B). 

4.  Squeeze the ErgoGrip carefully at the top and at 

the same time move it off the handpiece (C). Do not 
squeeze too hard at the ErgoGrip as this make the 
removal difficult.

5.  Press the depressurisation button (D1) (bottle 

version).

6.  Pull the medicament bottle from the unit (D2) (bottle 

version).

7.  Clean and sterilize equipment/components 

according to the cleaning and maintenance section. 
See instructions “7. Cleaning and maintenance” on 
page 30.
