UltraLED Scaler
A
1. Carefully move the LM-ErgoGrip on to the scaler
handpiece (A).
2. Carefully put the tip in the torque wrench (B).
3. Use the torque wrench and turn the tip clockwise on
to the scaler handpiece (C). Tighten until resistance
and the torque wrench slides. The torque wrench
secures a correct tightening of the tip.
4. Press the key identified S on the keyboard (D) to set
ON the UltraLED Scaler. The blue scaling indicator
lamp illuminates and the scaling mode is activated.
5. The indicators adjacent to the working modes
are flashing to remind that you must select a
working mode. If some blue indicators are flashing
alternatively, make sure that the scaler handpiece is
connected. If the problem stays, refer to the trouble
shooting section. See the recommended working
mode that is identified on the tip (E) and push the
related working mode key (F) on the keyboard.
Remember to choose right working mode if
changing scaler tip during the treatment.
6. Keep the handpiece above the cuspidor bowl and
press the foot control in the leftmost position and
adjust the water flow with the ring on the handpiece
(G) until the water is dripping from handpiece (H).
Recommended flow: 20 ml/min, operating with
UltraLED scaler.
