Installation and Operations Guide
Step 10: Install (optional) AVHC torch mount
If you are not using an (optional) AVHC torch mount, or your AVHC torch mount has been
pre-installed, skip to step 11. The AVHC torch mount is a part of the horizontal drive unit, de-
scribed in Step 8. It differs slightly in that it includes a motor powered lifter-station. Route the
motor cable through the cable carrier to the AVHC Control box which will be mounted near
the CNC Controller.

Instructions
• Instead of the manual height control torch mount, install the AVHC
torch mount instead. The same basic mounting and motion control
hardware is used by by both mounts, differing only in the ability to
support the heavier AVHC unit.
• If it is not already attached, attach the lifter station to the mount.
• Attach the motor cable included with the AVHC to the motor, and
route the cable through the cable controllers to the AVHC Control
box.
• To minimize electromagnetic interference, maintain as much
distance as possible between the AVHC motor cable and the
torch lead.
