5.2.5 Checking the ignition electrode
If the electrode does not produce an ignition spark, there may
be various causes. Therefore, check whether
the battery of the ignition spark generator is dead.
the spark plug connector is disconnected.
the ignition electrode is damaged.
there is a distance of 3 - 4 mm between the centre
electrode and the earth electrode (see Fig. 6).
the centre electrode has no contact with the housing.
If the ignition electrode is damaged, contact your
specialist workshop for repair.
5.2.6 Cleaning the weed burner
ATTENTION!
Cleaning the weed burner with a high pressure cleaner or
water hose can damage the seals and bearings of the
machine. In addition, the insulation of the combustion
chamber can soak up water.
Therefore:
Do not clean the weed burner with a high-pressure cleaner
or water hose.
Remove plant residues from the weed burner before each
use. If necessary, clean the weed burner with a damp cloth.
