4.1.2 Checking the gas connection
Check the connection of the gas coupling before every start or
after every replacement of the gas cylinder.
Open the gas valve of the gas cylinder.
Press the push-button on the hose break safety device to
pressurize the gas hose.
Close the gas valve of the gas cylinder.
Spray leakage spray (not included in the scope of delivery)
onto the coupling.
If there are no bubbles, the gas clutch has been mounted
correctly.
If there are bubbles, check whether the gas coupling has
been correctly mounted (see section 4.1.1, page 23).
Repeat this procedure. If bubbles still form, the weed
burner
must not be used. Initiate the repair by the
specialist dealer or by expert personnel.
4.1.3 Checking the ignition
Press the ignition button on the handlebar. There must be a
clicking noise in the front of the combustion chamber.
If not, follow the instructions in the section Maintenance and
repair (see section 5.2.5, page 31).
