Remove leaves, branches and other highly flammable
vegetation from the area to be processed.
4.2 Starting the weed burner
NOTES
In extreme rain and wind, the result will be significantly
poorer than in dry and calm weather.
Wind can have a negative influence on burner
performance. Push the weed burner in the same direction
as the wind.
To prevent damage to or burning the ground, you must
push forward immediately after igniting the weed burner.
The speed depends on the density and type of weeds.
The weeds should not be burned, but heated up to approx.
70 °C. The cells burst open and the sap flow to the roots is
interrupted.
Check with the finger pressure test whether the working
speed is optimal.
Take a leaf from the weed between thumb and index
finger and apply light pressure.
