Output Port Properties
Clicking on the output port to open the port properties window.
Available settings:

Change the name of the port;
▪
Mute/unmute the port;
▪
Lock/unlock the port;
▪
Output mode:

Emitter (modulated)
: use this mode for any
attached IR emitter unit.

Wired (baseband)
: use this mode for direct wired
connection between the output port and the
input port of the controlled device.

6.8. USB KVM Layer
6.8.1. USB KVM in the Receiver
USB KVM layer in the Transmitter
Two USB modes can be set in the USB KVM layer:
Transparent
and
Composite
. For the detailed information
You can use the crosspoint selectors for switching between the USB modes. The factory default settings
is the
Autoselect
which means the extender recognizes the attached USB HID devices and sets the mode
automatically. In this case the A icon is highlighted in green on the output ports.
ATTENTION!
The USB mode can be set only in the receiver!
State Indicators
Following icons display different states of the USB HID devices on the input ports:
Icon

Transparent mode
capability
Connected device is not transparent mode capable.
Connected device is transparent mode capable.
Composite mode capability
Connected device is not composite mode capable.
Connected device is composite mode capable but it has
limited support.
Connected device is fully composite mode capable.
Port Properties
Clicking on the output port to open the port properties window. The most important status information is
displayed on the panel and the port can be enabled or disabled.
6.8.2. USB KVM in the Transmitter
USB KVM layer in the Transmitter
The crosspoint status can be set on the USB KVM layer submenu. USB mode can be
Transparent
or
Composite
,
see the details in section in
section. The green highlights indicate the active
USB mode. The USB KVM function works only if crosspoint is set to the active USB channel.

The USB mode can only be set in the receiver!
