(8) Turn on hydraulic motor and check for hydraulic oil leaks and ease of
operation.
(9) Check and refill hydraulic fluid level as needed.
29. (Opt.) COMPRESSOR:
Removal:
(1) Locate hydraulic motor/compressor on passenger side behind cab.
(2) Remove compressor cover to locate hydraulic motor/compressor assembly.
(3) Remove bolt holding tray in closed position and slide tray out for easy access.
(4) Loosen hydraulic motor mount hold down bolts, loosen adjusting bolts, and
slide motor toward compressor to loosen belt. Remove belt.
(5) Remove bolts holding compressor to mounting bracket, remove compressor.
(6) Repair or replace.
Reinstallation:
(1) Replace compressor onto mounting bracket and bolt down securely.
(2) Replace belt on pulleys; then slide hydraulic motor away from compressor
using adjusting bolts until belt is tight. Hold in position and finish tightening
hydraulic motor hold down bolts.
(3) Slide tray into closed position and replace bolt holding tray closed.
(4) Replace compressor cover.
(5) Turn on compressor and check for correct operation.
30. (Opt.) TURBINE OIL PUMP/MOTOR ASSEMBLY:
Removal:
(1) Locate oil pump/motor assembly on passenger side, (Fig 12) behind cab. (In
tray with compressor.)
