Intake air filter is dirty.
Replace.
Seals in motor/pump are
worn.
Replace. Consider
replacing motor or pump.
Switch has failed.
Check and replace.
Pressure control valve is
adjusted incorrectly.
Readjust.
Valve on motor/pump will
not operate
Remove, clean valve with
solvent, replace seals if
necessary. Reassemble
and test. If problem
continues, consider other
causes or replace valve.
Low volume-hot air blows
out of intake
Intake valves not sealing.
Remove & clean or replace
worn parts.
Check valve or discharge
tubing clogged. Clean or
replace.
Head gasket or high
pressure inlet valve leak
Examine & clean or replace.
Defective safety valve
Replace, do not adjust.
Excessive oil consumption
Rebuild or replace.
