Operation Instructions
Exercising With a Specific Goal:
TIME Control:
Sets up a period of time to exercise. (Except in Program 19)
DISTANCE Control:
Sets up a certain distance to exercise. (Except in Program 19)
CALORIES Control:
Sets up a certain calories to exercise. (Except in Program 19).
Heart Rate Control:
Keeps user to exercise under a safe heart-beating condition.
Pulse Rate:
The computer will display your current heart rate figures and a flash heart
symbol in 4-5 seconds after you hold both two hands on handlebar grip sensors during
exercise. To ensure the pulse readout is more precise, please always hold on to the
handlebar grip sensors with two hands instead of just with one hand only when you try to test
your heart rate figures.
Manual Program:
PROGRAM 0 is a manual program. Press the MODE button to select TIME, DISTANCE, or
CALORIES for target pre-setting. Then press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the values.
The initial level of loading is 5. After pressing the START/STOP button to exercise, user
may exercise in any desire level by pressing the UP or DOWN button.
Pre-set Programs:
PROGRAM 1 to PROGRAM 9 are the pre-set programs. Press the MODE button to select
TIME, DISTANCE, or CALORIES for target pre-setting. Then press the UP or DOWN
button to adjust the values. User may exercise with different level of loading in different
intervals as the profiles show. After pressing the START/STOP button to exercise, user
may exercise in any desire level by pressing the UP or DOWN button.
User Setting Program:
PROGRAM 10 to PROGRAM 13 are the user setting programs. User is free to set the
values in the order of TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, and the level of loading in 10 intervals.
Press the MODE button to select TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, and interval. Then press
the UP or DOWN button to adjust the values and level of loading. The profile will be stored
in the memory after setup. After pressing the START/STOP button to exercise, user may
also change the ongoing loading in each interval by pressing the UP or DOWN button.
Watt Control Program:
Program 14 is a Speed Independent program. Press the MODE button to select TIME,
DISTANCE, CALORIES, and TARGET WATT. Then press the UP and DOWN button to
adjust the values. Then press the START/STOP button to begin exercise. During the
exercise mode, the level of loading is not adjustable. For example, the level of loading may
decrease while the speed is too fast. As a result ,the calculated value of WATT will close to
the value of TARGET WATT setup by user.
