HOW TO...  REPLACE THE SIX-VOLT BATTERY  

Tools required: Phillips screwdriver 
Estimated time required: 30 minutes 
 

1.

 

If the cross-trainer has line 
cords, unplug them from the 
wall outlets. 

2.

 

Remove the rear tower rear 
cover. (See the “How To…” on 
page 50.) 

3.

 

Disconnect the red and black 
wires from the battery 
terminals. 

4.

 

Remove and save the two 
Phillips screws that secure the 
battery to the tower. 

5.

 

Install the new six-volt battery 
in reverse order using the 
hardware removed and saved in 
the previous steps.
