Initial Configuration and Operation
• When you are recording the video feed from the master
stream, if the maximum frame rate set for the master
stream is higher than 10, the maximum frame rate and
GOP are automatically set to 10. In the meantime, if the
max frame rate is 10 or below, the GOP will be set to the
same rate as the maximum frame rate. Also, regardless
of the maximum frame rate, the quality settings will
automatically be set to CBR and the GOP configuration
item will disappear. The maximum values configurable in
this case are, respectively 10 for the maximum frame rate,
CBR for quality, and 6144 kbps for the bit rate.
• The video image may be interrupted due to the nature
of Wi-Fi network if the device is using a wireless network.
Wired connections are recommended when you are
recording the video images.

Follow the steps below to use an SD Card;
1. Insert the SD card in the card slot.
2. Mount the card on the system by pressing [Mount]
button. If the card is successfully mounted, the
button is changed to [Unmount] button.
3. The information on the card, such as the [Disk ID],
[Status], [Total Space], [Free space], etc., is displayed.
Notes:
• Once the card is mounted, press [Format] button to format
the card for stable performance of the storage. When the
format is completed, press [Mount] button again to mount
the card again.
• When you try to format the card, sometimes the
formatting sequence would not start for a while. In this
case, wait for some time and try to begin formatting by
pressing the [Format] button again.
