I want to access a device on the Local network from outside.
• Check your Firewall settings.

Forwarding or DMZ configuration.
• Contact your network administrator for further guidance
regarding the firewalls or the router configuration.
My network is down.
• In case a heavy traffic occurs over a short period of time,
the network may have a problem.
• Check your network equipments, such as the switch or
the hub.
• Contact your network administrator to find out the cause
of the surge in the traffic and make necessary adjustments
to the network or remove the cause of such network
problems to prevent further network problems.
I lost my log-on password.
• Press the Reset button and return the device to the factory
setting.
• Log on to the system using the default admin username
and password, and change the user settings as necessary.
I have a problem with the Video Streaming.
• When the video is not playing on your web browser, follow
the instruction on the screen to install the web client
Active X.
• Deactivate the ‘Pop-up Blocking’ functionality of your web
browser before connecting to the system through Smart
Web Viewer.
• Check the settings regarding video streaming in the setup
menus (Audio & Video > Stream), and make necessary
changes to play the video.
• If you set the quality or resolution of the video too high,
the video may be interrupted or play slow. Select the
optimized settings in consideration of the performance of
your network.
