To adjust any of the Display characteristics:
1. Select the Menu to move to Display menu.
2. Use the
Navigation
( ) button to highlight the Display selection.
3. Press the
OK
( ) left soft button to access the sub-menu.
4. Use the left or right arrow of the
Navigation
( ) button to select the display
characteristic.

5. Press the
OK
( ) left soft button to store the setting.
6. For dialing color use the left or right arrow of the
Navigation

Yes
( ), left soft button, or

( ), right soft button.
For back-lighting, use the
Navigation
( ) button to select the desired option.
•
Standard, back light turns Off 20 seconds after last button press.
•
Always On, back light is always ON.
•
Always Off, back light is always OFF.
•
Sleep Mode, back light turns OFF 20 seconds after last button press backlight
and handset turns OFF after 1 minute.
7. Press the
OK
( ) left soft button to store the setting.
8. Press the
End
( ) button.
Note:
To conserve battery charge, use the Standard or Sleep backlighting mode. At low battery
levels (less than two bars), the backlight turns OFF until the handset batteries are re
charged.
5.3 Sound
In the Sound sub-menu you can select the ring tone or melody for internal and external calls
as well as the ringer volume level. Also, the alerting mode can be set with the Ringing Mode
selection under this sub-menu. Under the Sound sub-menu are 4 selections:
Internal Ring: Select the ring type ( 9 kinds) and the volume level from 1 to 9.
External Ring: Select the ring type ( 9 kinds) and the volume level from 1 to 9.
Ringing Mode: Select the Ring mode type ( 4 kinds)
Silent In Charger: No sound and Flash LED when the handset is charging on
charger.
To set the internal or external ring options:
1. Select the Sound menu from the User Menu.
2. Press the
OK
( ) left soft button.
3. Use the
Navigation
( ) button to highlight a selection.
