When tire chains, a compact spare tire or an emergency tire puncture repair kit are
used.

If “Parking Assist Unavailable Clean Parking Assist Sensor” is displayed on the multi-
information display
A sensor may be dirty or covered with snow or ice. In such cases, if it is removed from the
sensor, the system should return to normal.
Also, due to the sensor being frozen at low temperatures, a malfunction display may
appear or an obstacle may not be detected. If the sensor thaws out, the system should
return to normal.

If “Parking Assist Malfunction Visit Your Dealer” is displayed on the multi-information
display
Depending on the malfunction of the sensor, the device may not be working normally.
Have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.

Adjusting the buzzer volume
Press or of the meter control switches and select on the multi-informa-
tion display.
Press
or of the meter control switches and select , and then press .
Select the volume and then press .
Each time the switch is pressed, the volume level will change between 1, 2 and 3.

Detection distance of the sensor can be changed.

Muting a buzzer temporarily
A mute button will be displayed on the multi-information display when an object is
detected. To mute the buzzer, press .
Mute will be automatically canceled in the following situations:

When the shift position is changed.
●
When there is a malfunction in a sensor or the system is temporarily unavailable.
●
When the function is disabled while it is operating.
●
When the power switch is turned off.
●
When the shift lever is in D or S and the vehicle speed is 9 mph (15 km/h) or higher.
