Printing beyond the basics
To print on both sides of a page:

Load up to 100 sheets of paper against the right side of the
automatic feeder.

Customize the Printer Properties for your two-sided print job.
Squeeze the release tab and the
media guide together, and slide the
media guide to the edge of the
paper.
Insert paper with the print
side facing you.
Select Two-Sided
printing.
Click the Job
Finishing tab.
Click OK.
Select a binding
edge for your print
job. For help, see
“Understanding
binding edge
options” on page
36.
Make sure Print
Instruction Page
is selected.
To open the
Printer Proper-
ties, click:

File.

Print (or Printer)
Setup.

Options, or Setup but-
ton.
Tip
Make sure the Print
Instruction Page
option is selected if you
want instructions to
print during your
Booklet, Handout, and
Two-Sided print jobs.
The instructions show
you how to reload your
paper so your docu-
ment prints without
problems.
Tip
The graphics in the Two-
sided printing and Bind-
ing Edge selection area
change to show the page
orientation you selected
in your application or in
the Paper tab, and how
the printed pages will
look.
