Procedure

Step 1.  Remove the screw that secure the latch to the heat exchanger; then, secure the replacement unit 

with the same screw.

Installing and removing 42U Heavy Duty Rack Extension

The rack cabinet supports up to two unit of 42U Heavy Duty Rack Extension, while each unit adds capacity 
of two 0U PDU to the rack. See this topic to learn how to remove and install the rack extension.

Notes: 

•  Each unit of extension module comes with additional capacity of one unit 0U PDU to each side of the rack.

•  Each rack cabinet supports up to two units of rack extension (one to the front and one to the rear side). 

However, if the rear side has been installed with the Rear Door Heat Exchanger, the rack extension cannot 
be installed.
