Chapter 6. Boot Options
To
use
the
Boot
Options
commands,
you
must
be
logged
in
to
the
switch
as
the
administrator.
The
Boot
Options
commands
provide
options
for:
Selecting
a
switch
software
image
to
be
used
when
the
switch
on
the
next
reboot
Selecting
a
configuration
block
to
be
used
when
the
switch
on
the
next
reboot
Downloading
or
uploading
a
new
software
image
to
the
switch
via
SFTP/FTP/TFTP
In
addition
to
the
Boot
commands,
you
can
use
a
Web
browser
or
SNMP
to
work
with
switch
image
and
configuration
files.

use
SNMP,
refer
to
“Working
with
Switch
Images
and
Configuration
Files”.
