CAUTION:
Be careful not to point the instrument directly towards
the sun, because the telescope functions as a magnifying
lens and can injure your eyes or damage the internal
components of the EDM, ATR1 and EGL1 guide light.
Precautions:
For total stations ATR1, EGL1 (TC-, TCM-, TCA-
versions):
Do not point the telescope directly at the sun.
For electronic theodolite (T-, TM-versions):
For observations to the sun or to other highly-reflective
objects, use the appropriate accessories.
WARNING:
During target recognition or stakeout procedures there
is a danger of accidents occurring if the user does not
pay attention to the environmental conditions around or
between the instrument and the target (e.g. obstacles,
excavations or traffic).
Precautions:
The person responsible for the instrument must make all
users fully aware of the existing dangers.
WARNING:
When using instruments for distance measurements to
moving targets (e.g. helicopters, ships and airplanes) or
to position moving objects (e.g. cranes, construction
machines, rigs) it is possible to get incorrect
measurements due to unforeseen events.
Precautions:
