Motorized instruments automatically change face
directly after performing the initial measurement.
The user need only perform any fine aiming
necessary.

If the differences between the horizontal and vertical
angles do not exceed ±27' ( ±0.5 gon ), the display
shows that it is ready to measure. The user is made
aware by an acoustic signal that the
