The [Setup] Menu

For details on how to select the [Setup] menu settings, refer to

[USB Mode]

For selecting the communication method when connecting the camera to a computer or

printer with the supplied USB cable.

Settings

[Select on connection]

Selects the communication method each time you connect to a

computer or PictBridge-compatible printer.

[PictBridge(PTP)]

Is selected when connecting to a PictBridge-compatible printer.

[PC]

Is selected when connecting to a computer.

[TV Connection]

For changing the settings to be used when the camera is connected to a TV or another

device.

[Video Out] (With camera models 18 470 / 18 473)

This setting is activated when the camera is connected via an AV or HDMI micro cable.

Video output is set to the NTSC system.

[PAL]

Video output is set to the PAL system.
