REMOVAL
1.
See Fig. 1
. Open trunk door and disconnect
license plate light.
2.
See Fig. 1
. Remove hinges from door.
3.
See Fig.’s 2 & 3
. Remove door and body
seals.
4. Thoroughly clean areas where previous seals
were installed.
REPLACEMENT
NOTE: Start door seal below latch assem-
bly and carefully apply seal to finished,
smooth edge of door. Apply body seal in
the same manner.
1. Install new door and body seals.
2. Connect hinges to door.
3. Connect license plate light.
4. Perform door seal test by placing strip of paper
between door and body at different locations
and closing door. Door seals properly if paper
has tension when removed.
