REPLACEMENT
1. Route new cables through backing plate slot
and connect ends of park brake cables to park
brake levers inside drum brake assemblies.
2. Pull cable insert shoulder through backing
plate hole. Insert fingers will spread apart lock-
ing cable into place.

. Route both cables around outside
of and under differential, and to right of differ-
ential pumpkin.

. Re-install long (left, inside) park
brake cable to inside (left) park brake bracket
slot and fasten with hardware.

See Fig. 8
. Re-install short (right, outside)
park brake cable to outside (right) park brake
bracket slot and fasten with hardware.
6. Re-install cable clamp in same location.
7. Bend cable clamp away from exhaust.
