REMOVAL
1. Loosen lug nuts with 11/16” shallow socket.
2. Lift trike with jack and support motorcycle
frame with center stand and differential with
jack stands.
3. Remove lug nuts and remove wheels.
4. Remove cable ties holding park brake and
brake lines to swingarm.

. Remove U-bolts from drive-
line. Leave rear driveshaft yoke and U-joint in
place on driveshaft maintaining phase align-
ment to front U-joint.
6. Apply
park
brake.

. Make a mark on mounting plates
to use as a reference when reinstalling differ-
ential.
8.
See Fig. 3
. Remove (8) mounting bolts and
nuts that hold differential to swingarm plates
and move differential rearward to gain clear-
ance.
