7.4.3 File – Safe Remove
The Safe Remove dialog provides input to perform a safe
remove of the USB drive. Upon pressing # a message box
will appear indicating the operation succeeded and the USB
drive can be removed. To exit this dialog, do an escape using
the “enter/esc” button.
7.4.4 File – Filenames
A note about filenames for DX3 configuration files, (.udr files). Keep the length of the filename to
fifteen characters, not including the file extension when naming files in DxDirector DX3. The menus
on the rack user interface can only display fifteen chars and the extension. Any filename longer than
fifteen characters will be truncated to fifteen. For example, the filename “abcdefghijklmnop.udr” will
be truncated to “abcdefghijklm~p.udr”. The last character is retained and a tilde indicates the filename
has been truncated from the original.
7.5 Main menu – Config
The Config menu has dialog selections to set the time and
date, set the rack IP address and to obtain system version
information.
7.5.1 Config - Time/date
The Time/date dialog lets you set the time and date for the
DX3 rack.
Use the * button to advance to hours, minutes, am/pm, month,
day, and year.
Use the slider to change the values for these entries. Numeric
entry can also be used except for am/pm and the year.
Once the time is changed, use the # button to store the new
time and date. To exit this dialog, do an escape using the “enter/esc” button.
