Using the slider you can scroll through the items currently on the display, or if there are additional
items they will scroll into view. Items will scroll into view going in either direction, wrapping around
to the first or last menu item.
A triangular glyph is displayed in front of the currently selected menu item. For the enter function, to
go to a sub-menu, or to display a dialog, touch and release the “enter/esc” button quickly,.
To return to a previous menu from a sub-menu or dialog, press and hold the “enter/esc” button until
you hear a double chirp, then release.
To return to the top of the menu, or home, press and hold the “enter/esc” button until you hear a triple
chirp, then release.
7.3 Dialog Navigation
Dialogs contain controls to allow user input or to display status. Controls that provide user input are
numeric controls, list controls, time or date controls, etc. Selecting a control for input is done using the
*
button. Touch and release the
*
button to advance to the next input control in the dialog. The
selected control that takes input will have a line cursor, “_”, under the first character in the control as
shown in the File-save dialog below. For composite controls such as time or date, touching the *
button will advance to the next part of the control, such as hours or minutes, before advancing to the
next control in the dialog.

7.4 Main menu - File
The file menu has dialog selections to save or load DX3 rack
configurations to/from a USB drive. There is also a selection
for performing a safe remove of the USB drive. Note: If a
USB drive is not installed the dialog selections will display a
message box – “drive not found”.
