Battery voltage 

 Ensure 

the 

INTERNAL / EXTERNAL

 

BCB

 switches are open. 

 

1)  Connect the cable 

“+B”

 

coming from the external battery cabinet on the battery terminal 

2)  Connect the cable 

“N”

 

coming from the external battery cabinet on the battery terminal 

3)  Connect the cable 

“-B”

 

coming from the external battery cabinet on the battery terminal 

4)  Connect the auxiliary contact of the EXTERNAL BCB switch on the specific terminal X10 1/2   

    inside the UPS (see photo below) 
 

 

             

 

5)  After connection and cabling check of the external battery cabinet, close the BCB protection of the   
     external battery cabinet and check that voltage and polarity are correct on the battery terminals of the  
     UPS: +B / N / -B. 
6)   Open the EXTERNAL BCB and check there is no voltage on UPS battery terminals. 

NOTES: 

do not close the INTERNAL BCB

.

ATTENTION DANGEROUS VOLTAGE 

After closing the EXT BCB, dangerous voltage will be present on the battery terminals
