Information
The installation of a barrier or a physical obstacle incurs your liability with regard to user safety. In
addition, we ask you to take into account the following comments:
► The key used to open the barrier hatch provides access to the mechanism and electrical part.
Therefore, it must be used by employees who are aware of running the risks of electrocution
and crushing in the event of negligent operation. The intervening employee must check that
the hatch is correctly locked before leaving.
► Pedestrian traffic must be prohibited in the obstacle passage area except if its movement is
highlighted efficiently (light and/or audible warning, marking on the ground, sign board, etc.).
You are responsible for the condition of this signalling.
You are solely responsible for the installation of and compliance with appropriate signs, taking into
account the following note:
Note: in countries within the European Union, requirement 1.3.7.2 of the EC Machinery Directive lays
down the affixing of a pictogram on either side of equipment that prohibits pedestrian access in
hazardous areas, at least one metre downstream and upstream of the boom in closed position
(horizontal).
