5. DRAIN AND SANITATION SYSTEM

WARNING 

 
  Ensure that bilge pump is in working order before putting to sea  
  Know where to find the hand pump and its handle  
  Know where to find the switch for the electric pump on the electrical panel  
  Clean the well and pump filter regularly  
  The bilge pump system is not intended to keep the boat afloat in the event of damage.  
  It is intended to remove water coming from spray, leaks from seacocks or any other
