Miscellaneous Information
This appendix contains additional information about the AC
and DC outputs and measurement ranges for Hand-arm and
Whole Body measurements.
DC Output Calibration
Since the sensitivity will vary a little from unit to unit, the
DC output sensitivity should be calibrated, or measured,
before it is used. Follow these steps to measure the DC out-
put sensitivity.
Step 1
Calibrate the HVM100 for the accelerometer that
will be used.
Step 2
Setup the HVM100 with the following settings:
a. Operating Mode 000000 = Vibration
b. Averaging 0000000000 = Slow
c. Auto Store 0000000000 = Off
d. Weighting 00000000000 = Fc (all channels)
e. Integration 0000000000 = None
f. AC/DC Output 0000000 = DC: rms (all channels)
