3-15 REAR TOW HITCH INSTALLATION (OPTION)
3-15.1 Attach rear tow hitch to the rear tow
hitch arms using 3/4-10 x 2-1/2 hex head
cap screws and hex lock nuts.
3-15.2 Attach the rear tow hitch assembly to
the rear bars of the center frame using rear
tow hitch clamp plates, 5/8-11 x 9-1/2 hex
head cap screws, and hex lock nuts
(See
Figure 3-18) . The rear tow hitch assembly
should be centered on the back bars of the
center frame
(See Figures 3-15, 3-16, and
3-17) .
3-15.3 Slide rear tow hitch bar into mouth of
rear tow hitch and attach with 3/4-10 x 2 hex
head cap screw and hex lock nut through
hole closest to the rest of the machine. Use
hitch pin, compression spring, 1/4 x 1 slotted
roll pin, and 1/4 x 3 slotted roll pin in hole
closest to the front of the machine.
