Moving Mower with Stalled Engine
Refer to Figure 2-8:
Located under the seat and in line with the rear wheels
are two hydraulic pumps. One on the right side and one
on the left side. Each hydraulic pump is equipped with a
bypass valve for moving the mower manually when the
engine is inoperable. The bypass valve is located on the
back side of the pumps close to the suction line. Before
moving mower manually:
1.
Loosen bypass valves with a 5/8" wrench. Turn hex
brass stud counter clockwise two full turns.
2.
Position both control levers in neutral with handles
fully apart.
3.
Release park brake lever.
4.
Mower rear wheels should now turn freely.

DANGER
The operator must be 16 or older, must have read this manual
completely and thoroughly, must be familiar with the proper
use and operation of the mower and must be properly trained
in the safe operation of this mower.
The operator should attempt slow moving maneuvers to
become familiar with the operation of the equipment before
attempting normal speed operation. An inexperienced
operator should not mow on slopes or on uneven terrain.
!
DANGER

death to the rider and/or operator.
!
DANGER
Never place hands or feet under the deck or attempt to make
any adjustments to the mower deck while the engine is running

high speed cannot be seen and are located very close to the
deck housing. Fingers and toes can be cut off instantly.
!
DANGER
Zero Turn Mowers are heavy and can crush a person causing
serious injury or death if they rollover on their side or
flip-over backwards.
• Always use the seat belt and Roll Over Protection System
(ROPS) when mowing.
• Do not operate Zero Turn Mowers on slopes greater than
15 degrees.
• Drive up and down slopes, not across slopes.
• Use a walk behind mower when mowing across slopes.
!

Projectiles can suddenly without warning discharge from
under the mower deck causing serious injury or death.
• Never mow with people present in the mowing area.
• Never direct discharge of material from mower deck
towards people, animals or buildings.
• Keep discharge chute in its lowest position.
• Never remove discharge chute unless a complete grass
collection system is in place.
!
DANGER
Always operate mower with belt guards installed. Do not
leave pulleys and belts exposed.
!
DANGER
Do not leave mower unattended with engine running. Children
may play on or around the unit or an unqualified person may
choose to operate the mower resulting in serious injury or
