10.1 Fault Finding and Troubleshooting
10.1.1 Commissioning

The maximum length of the FSB is 80 m (both directions); for length> 80 m, intermediate am-
plifiers (repeaters) must be used.

• Use a connecting cable that is as short as possible.
• Termination: Connect a 120

• Switch on the terminating resistor with the external
User Interface (

not be read out. A serious error has occurred
resulting in the prevention of
an automatic RESET. • Reset the hardware by interrupting the supply volt-
age for approximately 10 seconds.
• Read the error out after switching the device on
again.
• If the error occurs again, contact the manufacturer.
