Model Scope/General Description
The La Marche model TPSD2 is a controlled ferroresonant float charger designed to power a load while charging
the battery. The TPSD2 is filtered and may be used without the battery. The all solid-state electronic control circuit
provides excellent line-load voltage regulation, current limiting, and a power failure relay with light and Form “C”
contacts. The TPSD2 is offered with DC output voltages of 24, 48, or 130VDC with output currents from 6 to 200
amps. These chargers may be powered with 120, 208, 240, or 480VAC.
Understanding the Model Number
The TPSD2 model number is coded to describe the options that are included. Find the model number on the
nomenclature nameplate of the charger. Then follow the chart to determine the configuration of your battery
charger.
Optional Accessories Included in the Charger
This charger may have been outfitted with a number of optional accessories or option packages. To determine
the options included (if any), refer to the cover page of the manual package. If the manual package that is
included with the charger is no longer available, contact La Marche and provide the model or serial number of the
charger to receive a list of the included accessories.
