22 - OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
USER’S GUIDE
113
• For the installation of optional equipment,
contact a Laika authorised workshop.
• In the interest of safety, replacement parts for an
appliance must conform to the appliance
manufacturer's specifications and should be
fitted by him or his authorised agent.
THINGS TO DO
• Never modify the original electric system of the
chassis on which the motorcaravan is built.
THINGS TO AVOID
The failure to use genuine optional equipment or
spare parts may cause damage to the vehicle or
compromise the safety of the passengers. The
assembly of them, if it has not been carried out
following the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions,
may also invalidate the guarantee. You are therefore
advised to use only genuine Laika products and to
have them installed at authorised service centres
only. Any alteration to the vehicle and its systems
(electric, gas, water, etc.) not authorised in writing
by Laika Caravans S.p.A. involves the automatic
invalidation of the guarantee.
WARNING
If optional equipment is installed, it is mandatory to
follow the instructions and recommendations
indicated by the manufacturer of the optional
equipment installed.
WARNING
In case of carry loads protruding from the shape of
the vehicle, always inquire about the regulations in
force in the country where you are traveling.
WARNING
Always check to see if the installation of a piece of
optional equipment affects the permitted speed
limit.
