HOW TO INSTALL THE JOINTER CUTTER-HEAD GUARD
(Note: this is mounted in the outfeed jointer table)
Find the 2 hex bolts (part no. N 1246) and round mount block (part no. X2355), item 1 on the below
figure.
Holding the round mount block, insert the two hex bolts from the underside of the cast-iron and into
the block. The ends of each bolt will stick out approximately 3/16”
Take the main part of the guard, which is item #2, and slide #3 onto the ends of the bolts. Then
tighten handle #4.
Insert the cured aluminum piece into top bracket #5 (part #X2366).
To adjust the height of the jointer guard, turn the knob (part #X2377, item #6) to the desired height.
